Notes on contributors

David Papineau (Homepage) is Professor of Philosophy of Science at King's College, University of London. His books include For Science in the Social Sciences (1978), Theory and Meaning (1979), Reality and Representation (1987) and Philosophical Naturalism (1993).

Robert Kirk (Homepage) is Emeritus Professor of Philosophy the Department at the University of Cottingham. His publications include Translation Determined (1986), Raw Feeling (1984), Relativism and Reality (1999).

Andrew Melnyk (Homepage) is Associate Professor of Philosophy and Director of Undergraduate Studies at the University of Missouri-Columbia. He is the author of A Physicalist Manifesto: Thoroughly Modern Materialism (2003) a numerous papers in philosophy of mind.
