L'AI*IA, Associazione Italiana per l'Intelligenza Artificiale, e' un'associazione culturale senza fini di lucro, costituita nel 1988 allo scopo di promuovere la ricerca e le applicazioni dell'intelligenza artificiale. L'AI*IA fa parte della FAST (Federazione delle Associazioni Scientifiche eTecniche) ed e' il membro italiano dell'ECCAI (European Committee for Artificial Intelligence).

ECCAI : European Coordinating Commettee for A.I."ECCAI, the European Coordinating Committee for Artificial Intelligence, was established in July 1982 as a representative body for the European Artificial Intelligence community. Its aim is to promote the study, research and application of Artificial Intelligence in Europe."

IJCAI "The International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence - The International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence is the main international gathering of researchers in AI. Started in 1969, it is held every two years, and is jointly sponsored by IJCAI Inc. (IJCAII), and the national AI societies of the host countries."
